Reading Material

I went to Barnes and Nobles today, and inevitably, I felt guilty with my purchases once the total rang at the register. I really love books and I love owning books. But I would prefer to buy them used rather than fresh spankin' new and expensive. But I managed to find some not too terribly expensive books on the SALE rack. Here's what I got:

The Essential Tales and Poems of Edgar Allen Poe
(I wanted to buy the super expensive complete collection, but I refrained...)

The Idiot by Fyodor Dostoevsky

The Metamorphosis and Other Stories by Franz Kafka

Secrets of Freemasons
(I feel like I should be embarrassed by this purchase, but whatever.)

I'd like to read a good chunk of Kafka's works tonight but we'll see how that goes. I want to go see my friends' band Ladies and Gentlemen, but I might be too exhausted to go...plus lack of transportation. Lame. They are playing on Sunday night at the Hopvine Pub in Capitol Hill too! Check them out!
