Vancouver Olympics Trip

Yes, it is true. I went to Vancouver with my roomies for the last day of the Olympics! As promised, here are a few photos from our trip. It was SO fun. But explanations will have to be saved for later this week...an more photos as well!

I am beyond tired at the moment having just arrived back home in my hometown after a long and wonderful day. I got 3 hours of sleep last night and took a 6am flight to San Francisco. My wonderful boyfriend came and picked me up and we spent the day wandering and falling asleep in Golden Gate Park...ok, he fell asleep and I kept alert protecting our wallets. We ate a delicious breakfast, YUM french toast. I bought the new Joanna Newsom album set, YES!!!!!, and he bought the new Mumford and Sons album. The rest of the day was spent with the lovely miss Laura, eating grapes, dropping off bf at his camp interview, eating mouth watering sandwiches from a Brazilian cafe, and then driving home.
I'm exhausted and will sleep in tomorrow for the first time in days and days and days.

my roomies and I. Aren't they ridiculously pretty? My favorite models.

this was probably my favorite moment captured during our trip. I love the massive amounts of high fiving with strangers that occurred. :)
Need I even mention that Canada was extremely excited about winning the US vs Canada hockey game? Answer: I think the photo explains enough. The streets were PACKED everywhere in downtown Vancouver with screaming/shouting/joyful Canadians ...and a few Americans like me and my friends sneaking through the throngs of happy people.
