Cooking For One

Fact:  I hate cooking alone.  I hate making meals for just myself.  It feels depressing/boring.  And I definitely don't look as cute as Audrey Hepburn when I cook.  Most of the time, I eat alone because my 4 other roommates work late and my boyfriend lives 2 states away.  But guess what!  My boy is coming to visit tomorrow and I am so excited!  Plus, my friends Margaret and David are at Margaret's sister's wedding (wish I could be there) so I am apartment/puppy sitting for them!  I am obsessed with their apartment.  It is so perfect and clean and modern and perfect and I am obsessed with it.  Tomorrow my boyfriend will be here and we can cook together in this lovely little space and eat together.  Yay!

It's going to be hard to cook together when we're eating at Dick's every night...

i feel the same, i actually love having a flatmate to cook for! makes it so much more interesting.

My boyfriend lives miles away too! like 7 hours! it sucks sometimes but other times i love having the bed to myself ;)

:) have fun!

First of all, love your Boy's comment... Reminds me of Joseph. Poopoo head. Second, OMG!!! I can't wait to COOK with you!!! Let's make amazing things. I will just cycle on over to M & D's apartment because I live very close to them. I can't wait. Friday? Saturday? Call me!!

I am totally with you. My husband works second shift now so I rarely feel like bothering to make an actual dinner for just me. Have fun this weekend (and save some leftovers so you don't have to cook during the week!)

Have fun cooking! Cooking for one isn't fun sometimes, but if you make it a challenge it can be so exciting. Good luck :)

I know the feeling. I eat a lot of peanut butter sandwiches for just that reason.
