Giveaway!

My friend Ian is doing a few Etsy giveaways in the coming weeks.  And today marks the first of the giveaways! He is an incredibly talented sculptor and is moving into jewelry making as well!  Because he invests a lot of time into his pieces, and he is a very particular about the high level of quality of each of his pieces, he has a few that don't totally fulfill all of his standards.  He doesn't want to sell things that are not absolutely perfect on Etsy so he is doing a few giveaways of the things that are maybe just a little bit wobbly or things like that.  So, here is the first giveaway:

Spindle Motor Pendant
This pendant is a reclaimed spindle motor from an old hard drive. It has been set inside polyester resin and polished smooth. The sides have been rounded giving a lens effect. Its roughly 1.25 inches wide by 1.5 inches tall and .5 inches thick. It hangs from a 20 inch waxed cotton cord and clasps with a hand made sterling s-hook.
The flaw. The copper tube from which the piece hangs from shifted while the resin was being poured and is crooked.
 How to enter:
leave a comment here, and you will be entered once.  If you also leave a comment on Ian and his sister's blogs, you will be entered 2 more times!  At the end of the weekend, Ian will tally all the entries and randomly choose a name.  A lucky lady or gent will receive this unique handmade necklace!  (Perfect for you nerdy gadget loving folks.)  Comment away!
