Recipes: The Warm and Cozy

the warm and cozy
My Dad makes the yummiest alcoholic drinks. Is that a strange way to start a blog post? Oh well, facts are facts.  I have never been a big drinker, probably because my dad always let me have a sip of his concoctions since I was a little girl and I have had nothing to rebel against with alcohol.  Drinking has never been all that exciting to me simply because my parents have never made a big deal of it and they always drank in moderation.  But what they did make, and still do make is delicious :)  One glass of something incredibly tasty is all I need.  And this holiday season, this delectable creation is my new favorite!

I call this drink, "The Warm and Cozy." My sister compares it to a mulled wine, so maybe you could call it a Mulled Vodka.  It tastes like the coziest, warmest, winter wonderland drink.  It's a perfect treat to make your heart happy on a cold winter's day.  The slight fruity pomegranate taste, mixed with the spices of chai, topped off with the belly warming hint of vodka just makes me the coziest lady imaginable.
the germans and the alcohol

Here is how to make it:

1 cup of Pomegranate Juice
1 cup of hot Chai Tea ( 2 tea bags)
1 cup of vodka ( you can use less or more if you like :)
1 tablespoon of Splenda or regular sugar

this makes a few glasses for a few friends.  Or one person who loooooves it too much.

Seriously the yummiest holiday drink.  Warm's your tummy right up!
Let me know if you give it a try.  And I hope you love it as much as me :)
