G I V E A W A Y # 3

Giveaway #3 is a beautiful handmade looking glass necklace by Ian Gill.
I think this would be an awesome necklace for a girl OR a guy.

Looking Glass No.12

This piece is the twelfth in a series which is made with recycled or reclaimed materials. The wood in this piece is salvaged from a guitar maker, the copper is scrap from building flashing, and the lens is taken from old camera lenses found in thrift shops.

When looking through the glass you are given a fish eye view of the world. The lens is held in place by the copper backing with brass screws. The copper backing has been given a patina to give it an aged weathered look. It hangs from a 20inch chain and clasps with a hand made sterling s-hook.

Very cool - industrial but soft. I think my boyfriend & I might argue over who got to keep this one. I suppose we could share? :)

Oh wow, that is awesome. I just got a necklace with a tiny working hourglass (it can time you doing something for all of 7 seconds!) and a tiny looking glass would add to my new collection. Yes. WANT.
