Merry Christmas

merry christmas
A very Merry Christmas to all of my blog readers and friends. :)
This has been a crazy awesome year.  I am ending it with a good fight with Bronchitis, but c'est la vie.  I have had so many highs and lows this year with everything balancing out for a beautiful and fulfilling 365 days.  This has most definitely been the busiest year of my life.  But I think I have so many things to be proud of.  And that is a wonderful feeling.
The Christmas season is my favorite time of year.  And this year it feels extra special because last year at this time, I connected with my now boyfriend of a year.  Well, we kind of officially started dating a little later, but I was head over heels for this man immediately.  He is so amazing.  In the past year he has taught me so much by him just simply being himself.  I have never met a man so loving and understanding.  I'm just mesmerized by him.  This is the longest relationship I have ever been in.  I've done the stupid on and off thing with boys and short stints of boyfriend/girlfriend.  But with this man, it is so unique and beautiful and true.  I can honestly say that I love him more and more everyday.  I never believed that phrase, but now I feel it.
My most favorite Christmas gift of my lifetime is the love given to me by my boyfriend.  I am so thankful for him.  And I am thankful to be home with my family in Northern California.  I feel bad that they are stuck with the raspy, grumpy, sleepy, and super sick version of Moorea.  But, eh, they have to love me no matter what, right?  My boyfriend comes home tonight too!  For those who don't know, he is from my hometown in California and he moved up to Seattle in the fall, where I live as well. :)

My favorite Christmas gift is the simple joy of a sincere love.  All things outside of that are just cherries on top of a fulfilling life.  <3
I hope you all feel a little bit of love this Christmas.  If you are lonely, know that I am thinking of you and praying for you.  Know that I am sending out my love and friendship to you this Christmas.
Merry Christmas friends.
