Oh Pretty Things

Ah what I would do for a big huge fancy walk in closet / room full of pretty things.  I don't really wear ruffly or fluffy things, I like to stop before I hit the peak of cutesy cute.  But this image is just so feminine and magical that I am dying to be lying in that bed right now, staring at the beautiful organization of girly things!  And I wouldn't mind living in a French manor with giant chandeliers dangling around my bedroom either.  Don't you agree?

Put me in that room any time! I love how the clutter is all organized and those floral prints poking out from corners.

That's kind of my dream room!
Let's just run away to France and start living in a manor, okay? Just for a little while! :)

This looks like an English Robert Adam period room (circa 1770s). Undoubtedly this is a stage setting for the stuff in the photo. You might not remember but Lady Hastings took a big room with 1600s paneling and inserted a custom-made kitchen with cabinets, etc in it with the kitchen itself not touching the walls, sort of like in this photo, but she did it around 1993. So ingenious.

This room is so girly and pretty and I wouldn't mind staying there for a little while. It would be a pain in the butt to dust all that stuff though.... ;)
