My new friend Zoe Weir just sent me this video this morning and maaaan I love these girls' style.  Our jewelry designs are somewhat similar and I totally have been brainstorming about shoulder pieces for my collection for spring!  I guess the big difference between me and these ladies though is that their jewelry is kind of dependent on the party life to get it promoted whereas I am an internet based advertiser with my jewelry.  Sometimes I wish that my jewelry would take me on more adventures outside of the web but I'm definitely not a party girl, so their lifestyle wouldn't be best for me.  Plus, they have a team of 4 running their company whereas I only have me and only me!  I guess there are benefits and downsides to both.  I love being my own boss, but when I have tons and tons of work, it can be hard designing, marketing, accounting, blablabla everything by myself.  Maybe I can get my sister Alexandra to move up here and work with me one day, and once my littlest sister is old enough, she could join in too :)  Only time will tell where my jewelry business goes, but all I know is that I want it to be true to me, enlivening, empowering, and successful.  I think these girls embody those things, though their life is a little more crazy sexy party than mine :)

Thanks for sharing!
That was so inspiring. I've been starting to make jewelry lately, so seeing all those chains and designs really pumped me up to get making stuff!
Plus, I'm a sucker for any kind of behind the scenes/making of videos. Love it.
I understand what you mean about the party lifestyle. I get that that is a way to promote your product and make connections, but it seems a little immature to be advertising that as a good thing about your employees, that they're party girls and extremely sexual. That doesn't really impress me. The girls working in the studio, hammering metal, working on their laptops, that impresses me more. Being an awesome girl to party with doesn't mean you have good business skills.

Moorea, I think you're doing amazing with just you selling your jewelry online. Your products are beautiful, and so are you inside + out. :) That video was very inspiring, but you inspire me everyday with your blog. <3

Awesome video! I am so inspired for the day. Thank you for sharing that.

I feel what you are going through too, as I am the only person running my business. We'll make it there, eventually, and in our own way. :)
