DIY: Bird Feeder, with Katie!

Hi, friends! My name is Katie and I am the girl behind the Skunkboy Creatures blog. While Moorea is out having some fun, I thought I'd share my take on a really simple and fun DIY!

Here are the supplies you will need:
long fabric scraps and lace; twig spheres (found at our local craft store) or pine cones (you know, Girl Scout style); peanut butter; birdseed; scissors

Step 1: String the fabric scraps and lace through the spheres (we used small scissors to help push the fabric through). Tie a knot at the end of each piece of fabric.

Step 2: Spread peanut butter all over the spheres, but try not to get it on the fabric.

Step 3: Roll the peanut butter in bird seed.

Step 4: Hang your feeder and enjoy your bird watching!

  1. I love this post. I have a bunch of trees outside my second story flat and we've been trying to figure out how to get some bird feeders up there without being too obvious in front of the landlords. I showed this to my boyfriend and I think we're going to make them and throw them up at the trees and cross our fingers that they stick. :)

  8. Those are so cute and small. I will have to give it a try and put them on my tree since there are always a lot of birds hanging out in my front yard. Oh I cannot wait to try this with my daughter. Thank you for sharing this.
