What to Wear to a Summer Wedding, with Kaelah!

Hi everyone! I'm Kaelah and I write a little life + style blog over at Little Chief Honeybee! I'm happy to be here today to fill in for Miss Moorea as she's off galavanting around doing fun wedding things and the like! Hopefully you'll like my post and drop by to say hello!

So let's talk weddings, shall we?! I'm planning one of my very own (!!!) for next year, and wedding season is definitely in bloom! I love love love fashion, but I hate all the rules. When it comes to fashion at weddings, there's no shortage of them! From not being able to wear white or cream, to always ensuring you're wearing the proper footwear, I really just don't care much for them! I mean, rules were meant to be broken right? I've styled up three different wedding appropriate looks via Polyvore to share today! One wedding is a summertime outdoor gig, one is a much more formal/conservative bit, and the third is a laid-back rustic look that I'm the most comfortable with (and hope my guests wear!)

Summer Heat: This first number is perfect for the height of summer. Simple white flats paired with a contrasting red dress! You're sure to grab some attention (But beware! Don't steal it from the bride!). I chose to accentuate the dress with a ton of red and gold accessories. It's definitely eye catching so I kept it minimal with the jewelry and opted for a summertime scent and bold red lips! (Click here to get the links of each item if you'd like to shop!)

Formal Affair: This second number is for the more conservative crowd! Maybe you're thinking a pristine church with a fancy restaurant reception? This lacy number is sure to wow and it's played up with frisky pink lips and white accessories! The clutch is the perfect mix of casual and high end. I mean, you've gotta keep that lipstick on hand for touchups! (Click here to scout these pieces!)

Rustic Revival: This final look fits the style of wedding that I'm aiming for: a laid back, young wedding with vintage and rustic decor. The wood styled drop earrings pair well with the leather cuffed bracelets and sandals. The coral and gold ring is just the right pop of color against the cream blazer. And who says you can't mix white and cream?! It's one of my favorite combinations! (Click here to shop these items!)

That about does it for me, lovelies! Hopefully you found some ideas for your attire if you're heading out for any nuptials soon! Have a great day! And thanks for having me, Moorea! xo

LOVE this post. My favourite one is the first outfit, although that blue lace dress with sleeves is also gorgeous x

Wow these are super cute! A tad out of my price range, but I could probably find comparable items at a thrift store. I love the way you priced together the outfits though - very inspiring!
