Sweetness

In my backyard, I have 5 big planter boxes bursting with fresh veggies and berries right now.  The strawberries have been doing so well this summer and I've been filling up a big bowl full of strawberries every other day for the past 2 weeks.  I think they might be saying goodbye within the next week or so, so I thought I'd give you a peek at how beautiful fresh organic strawberries are.  Look at that juicy red color and the lovely variety of shapes and sizes of the strawberries.

Gorgeous strawberries! They look so good. By the chipper sounds of this post, you seem to have recovered considerably? Anyway so glad we're in berry season right now!

Just another reason to move to Seattle! We can't grow strawberries very easily here in SLC. They look so delish. : )

I just love strawberries. I think I could literally live off of them. I "drink" them in the morning with my blueberry, strawberry and banana smoothie, and I eat them for lunch everyday. I should have planted some this year. I will most def. next year:)

Enjoy them!!

Take care,

Kim

Those look positively amazing. I used to have raspberries in my backyard and it pretty much rocked. We couldn't pick them fast enough!!

These look oh so yummy! I am jealous that you have a back yard. I am going to have to talk to my landlord about building some planter boxes for me on the roof of our place. I want some yummy berries and fresh veggies, lucky for my I am very close to the best market in Montreal!
I love the contrast of the berries to wood chips... it's delicious.
Hope the rest of your summer treats you well with lots of laughs with loved ones.
Much Love,
Crystal

I'm so glad that I've got some strawberries in the kitchen right now because I have such a craving!

(And is it weird that when I saw the photo of you standing on those wood chips I thought about how much that must have hurt?! Haha.)
