DIY: Hogwarts Acceptance Letter // Michelle from Oh, Mishka

Hi everyone, I'm Michelle and I write the blog Oh, Mishka. I'm not the craftiest of people; I tend to focus my energy on cooking and reading when my time isn't consumed by school, but there is one project that I made last summer that I am infinitely proud of. My best friend and I have loved Harry Potter ever since the beginning of high school, ten years ago. So for her birthday last year, since I moved to a new state and wanted to send her something extra special in the mail, I decided to custom make a Hogwarts acceptance letter for her!

She loved it, and I was thrilled that it turned out so well. Once I blogged about it, people went crazy! So I ended up hosting the files online so that anyone who wants to make one for a friend or younger sibling can download them and make their own. Unfortunately, you'll have to download the fonts on your own, but the process is really easy. In fact, one of the files I made is a PDF explaining what fonts you need, how to install them (for free!), and which fonts to use on each section of the letter. So if you want to make your own Hogwarts acceptance letter, for a friend or for yourself, just click here to download the files and get started!

Awesome! Maybe that's what I'll send out for birthday cards to those friends who are HP fans.
