The Hidden World of Girls

Today's agenda begins with listening to Tina Fey host the NPR special "The Hidden World of Girls."  I absolutely love Tina Fey.  Maybe because I relate to her "awkward girl with glasses who really likes to gorge on snacks and make weird faces and has dorky catch phrases" persona, but I also think she is an incredibly smart and creative woman, someone I want to be like.  I love her shows, movies, her book, just about everything she does is awesome.  So, after giving myself a much needed relaxed morning, I'm now starting my workday with a little story time from Tina about The Hidden World of Girls.  Listen along with me while we work!

HA! I just went to your page as I was in the middle of my 4th round of "Bossypants". Perfect timing.

I LOVE Tina Fey. I wish I was her, or at the very least that she was my best friend.

I still can't believe I haven't read her new book. She and Amy Poehler are both such funny yet classy women.

I love Tina Fey - and you are so right that she's much more than the persona she portrays on 30 Rock or SNL...she's so smart and has some solid insight on being a successful woman. I just finished reading Bossypants a couple of weeks ago and I enjoyed it so much. Have you read it? It's hysterical and thought-provoking all at the same time. You will love it if you haven't fallen for it already! Thanks for sharing the recording, I can't wait to listen at work tomorrow :)

Whoops, just re-read your post and looks like you've read her book already, so it looks like I'm just preaching to the Tina choir. Sorry about that :P (Obviously I can totally relate to the awkward chick in glasses thing...)

I love Tina Fey & Bossypants. I got it as an audiobook which made it all the more funny because she actually read the book for it!
