Animal Print Party

I am loving animal prints right now.  It all started with my leopard print loafers which immediately became my go to shoes a few months ago.  And ever since then I have really been diggin' seeing animal prints used in interesting ways like in jewelry, on classic style shoes adding a quirky twist, on chic clutches and handbags, or on a bohemian styled dress.  Animal prints are tricky in that if they are not styled right, they can look pretty trashy.  But I think when they are styled well and in a more sophisticated way, they are just amazing.  I don't like too many patterns but the patterns in animal skins are just amazing to me.  I am thinking about adding some fun animal print textures to my shop in the fall actually!  Below is a little experiment I tried out yesterday, using faux snakeskin with resin in some rings and pendants.  What do you think of animal prints?

I'm thinking of keeping these rings and pendants super simple, just hanging the pendants on long gold and silver chains.  I think they would make the perfect accessory for a chic or a more boho summer outfit.  How would you style them?  Would you like to see a leopard print pendant or ring as well?  I'd love to hear your thoughts!

They are really cute! Great idea.

I've been thinking about your jewellery lately for no apparent reason. I'm so not boho but I keep putting together outfits and thinking how I could work your stuff into my look, is that weird? Hehe look out for an order soon, I can guarantee it ;)

Hiya, so I found you thru the Bohemian Collective. I am a huge fan of Violet Bella/Roots and Feathers...I also love PPP. I came across you and your style instantly caught my eye - I love your jewelry...and now your blog!

Animal print is the way to go always...it's classic (it's a nuetral for me)...I favor the cheetah print. I also have some cheetah shoes and it's just so easy to throw them on and make that statement without going to crazy...I love the idea of the rings...

looking forward to following your blog.

thanks,
Eva

I love the idea of a leopard ring! I have quite a few leopard pieces...I love the print so much. I have to consciously limit it because if not I'd look like a Palm Springs retiree!

I dig that ring SO MUCH - I would wear it in a heartbeat! I bet it looks awesome in that darker print, as well.

You talented lady, you!

Gorgeous, Moorea. I adore big, circular jewelry. Lovin' that ring especially.
A print I wish I saw more often in fashion is the turtle/tortoise shell print; such incredible colors & texture.
Thank you for your designs and your mind!

Wow. Gorgeous inspiration! I wish I could wear a big beautiful bow tie like that! Maybe I will find a moment of braveness and try. :)

I'll be at the meet up tomorrow night, look forward to meeting you!
