Birthday Party! I'm 26.

It's my birthday!  I'm a summer solstice baby, well except for this year because it's a leap year.  But I always thought it was awesome when I was growing up that my birthday fell on the summer solstice, the "longest day of the year" aka the day with the most sunlight.  My cousin says I am a Gemini but only by a few hours and that I have qualities of a Gemini and a Cancer since I was born 5 hours early from being a Cancer.  I don't know too much about astrology or signs or any of that stuff but I do know that I click really well with friends who are born at the end of June or in July.  Two of my best blog buddies, Laura and Kelly Ann have birthdays within the next few days too!  Summer Spirit Sisters!  All three of us really feel connected to a bohemian spirit, open minds and warm loving hearts.  I think we all have a lot in common especially our combination of being hardworking creative women balanced with a romantic tender hearted-ness.  I already thought of these 2 girls as dear friends that I found through blogging but when I found out our birthdays were all so close together I felt like our friendships were written in the stars, as coined by Laura :)

Today, I had a delicious breakfast with my love and then headed in to work.  I have been working like mad the past few weeks to pump out a ton of jewelry for a sale on Fab.com!  Our sale date had to be rescheduled so as soon as it is finalized, I'll let you guys know so you can scoop up some jewelry at a majorly discounted price.  Woot!  Who doesn't love a good sale?  I've been seriously working the hardest I ever have in my life to prepare, working 12 hour days back to back on pumping out bling while also juggling other work.  My apologies if you are waiting for a response to an email.  My email inbox has 300 messages I need to go through right now...ugh.  I wish I could clone myself!
But anyway, I'm taking the afternoon/night off to go bake pie with my boyfriend and then we are having a little BBQ shindig in his backyard with some friends.  God knows I love me some BBQ!  Mmmmmhm.  Thank you to all of you who have wished me a happy birthday on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram.  It's so nice hearing sweet words from friends and even people I don't know all day.  I appreciate you guys!  Have a beautiful day after the Summer Solstice!  It's officially summer!
