Pattern Play

I tend to gravitate towards more simple, clean, and minimal color palettes these days.  My closet is filled mostly with flat colors... and by colors I mean neutrals.  Lame!  But lately I've been craving some texture and pattern play in my wardrobe.  I bought this pretty sweater a few weeks ago from Urban Outfitters, in the auburn and orange color, and I am obsessed with it.  And now I'm trying to integrate more patterns in my home, my design styling, my jewelry design, just about everything!  Obviously I am drawn mostly to black and white or warm toned geometric patterns that look a little hand painted.
I've been on the hunt at local craft and fabric stores lately to find patterned material that I like, but I am having an impossible time finding anything!  Am I too picky?  Probably.  But I just want something I will fall in love with, not just moderately like.  Do you guys have any recommendations for places to buy unique fabrics either in the Seattle area or online?  And anywhere that is affordable?
