As I've been really trying to focus on organizing and decorating my studio lately, I've been on a
Pinterest DIY kick. Well, I haven't actually done any DIYs yet but I'm planning on trying some out :) Perhaps when my sister visits we can go on a DIY binge. Here are some of the DIYs from Pinterest that I am most excited about trying out along with some images that inspire me to create my own DIYs.
Try out the mercury glass DIY...it's my current fave! I was advised to use the Krylon paint because the others don't work as well. I'm super happy with it. I want to try out the gilded feathers as well. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI would love to try out one of these DIYs with ya, lady!

I'm dying to do the mercury glass with copper Krylon. I love mercury glass, jars, and copper, so, SO much! These are all awesome projects though. I hope you get to do a bunch of them. :)
ReplyDeleteFairly certain that I have those gilded feathers pinned too.. and I spray painted a small branch for an Xmas display, it looks nice!

ReplyDeleteYou have compiled a ton of really great ideas. I might have to try a few myself. What do you plan on doing with the feathers? They're pretty, but I'm not sure how to display them. Maybe in a shadow box??

I looked at that paint-covered pinecone for a good long while before I realized it wasn't something edible. Apparently I'm having a sugar craving.
