Trying to figure out what I was going to wear to Alt Summit ended up being pretty easy being that I pretty much only wear black and white with a few neutrals, a few black and white patterns and a little burgundy or army green thrown in :) I wear something black or grey almost everyday so I mix things up with interesting patterns. I also use sparkles, leopard print, and army green as neutrals or little elements of interest. On the first day of Alt I wore my favorite patterned skirt along with my favorite sparkle boots to keep my confidence high. Though I am very intimidated by wearing a bold lipstick, I decided for some reason that Alt was the place that I most needed to be bold. So my favorite deep red/purple lipstick it was. And of course I had to rep my jewelry line at Alt so I wore something from my shop everyday, mostly my chevron necklaces and my arrowhead rings. Those are my personal favorites!
I decided to give out earrings with every single one of my business cards. Yep! That means everyone I met got a little something special from my shop. One of my favorite things about making jewelry and making a living from it is that it feels like I am sending out presents to the world every time I send out a package. So I thought it would be so fun to gift everyone I met something special that I made. I also felt so much more confident approaching people when I knew I had something to give them and seeing people's reactions to my jewelry was so heart warming for me. Presents are so fun!

Love that skirt!
ReplyDeleteI love your outfit and how special you made your cards. I saw pictures from other bloggers all over instagram gushing over your cards and earrings. So sweet of you to add earrings to show your product!
