Right now I am really diggin' a ballerina meet's tough girl look.  Judging by the looks I got from passers by though wearing this outfit, I think most people are not fans of the ripped tights.  Well, I am when keeping the rest of the outfit a little more demure.  I'm not going for the "I fell in a gutter" look here.  Just a little bit of fun.
While I was taking these photos, and older guy and his little grandson asked me what I was doing.  I kind of mumbled, "oohh... it's a project."  He asked for what, so I said "oh, I take outfit photos for my blog sometimes" ...trailing off and feeling embarrassed.  He said, well what do you think of my outfit, wanna take a photo?  I said sure.  So I took a photo of him and his grandson and got his email address so I could send it to him.  And while they were leaving he said, "Well I like your outfit, but I think you need to patch up your tights a little bit."  Sometimes/always when people see me taking photos of my outfits, I am utterly embarrassed.  Ha!

Ha, that's too funny! I remember my Grandma once mending all the holes I had cut into my jeans the day before:)
So nice of you to take their picture!

That little story is so sweet :) I remember stopping by my grandma's once and I had my hair in a messy ponytail - she'd immediately ask me what's wrong with my hair and why I didn't put it into a neat ponytail, haha. Oh, and I've fallen in love with those shoes, they're simply amazing.

Diggin' it! I can imagine myself wearing that at Judgment day (Terminator/Skynet JD, not the Bible JD lol...okay..that sounded cooler in my head)....anyhoooo..

I like it better without the jacket.

P.S. Did anyone tell you it takes forever to load the images on your blog? Resolution too high maybe or some other techy reason? Not necessarily a problem since I always wait patiently for it to load :D *angel face*, but just thought you might want to know that. ♥

Hahaha, that's an adorable story. I take my pictures in my backyard, and I'm even funny about my neighbors seeing me. I just need to suck it up and gain some confidence. :)

I hate getting 'busted' doing anything for my blog, for some reason I just get so shy about it and don't want to share the link haha.

You look awesome here. Digging the ballerina meets tough girl thang!
Those boots are awesome!

haha. My great uncle is the same way. He would constantly nag me when I was little to stand up straight, tidy my hair, fix my dress, and so on and so on. He's such a fancy pants.

It's hard not to feel embarrassed. But I kind of think it would be even weirder if you didn't get embarrassed taking photos of yourself while other people watch. Don't you think so?
