Vintage Finds with Cassie from The Veda House

Hello Moorea readers!!! This is Cassie from The Veda House.  I'm so honored to be able to share some of my home with you while Moorea is away visiting with family. She asked me to share any piece of my home, so I chose to share some of my favorite vintage finds and handmade goods I have in my home. As a photo stylist, graphic design and vintage junkie, I'm always rearranging where things will go and my collection is ever-changing.

The first photo above showcases one of my absolute favorite items. It's a antique porcelain rubber glove mold that I use as my necklace holder. I always wanted one of these things and when Lackluster Co had a bunch on sale, I snatched one up. There are a few aluminum ones still left.

The second photo shows a little metal table base that I painted matte black and use as a plant stand. The Navajo blanket and brown apothecary jars were found at a St. Louis local antique mall. I'll be moving into a new home soon and have plans to turn the master bathroom into an apothecary, so I'll be able to put all my apothecary jars on display.
The third photo shows my new vintage leather flats that I found at a local thrift store for $10!! The shoes are sitting on some of my favorite vintage lace linens that I got at an antique mall for $11!!! I wasn't even looking for them at the time. Those are the best finds!

You can see more photos from my in home studio on my blog called The Veda House in a feature called Studio Hours. I hope you guys enjoyed seeing little snippets of my favorite things. You can also follow me on Instagram where I frequently share scenes from my studio. Enjoy!

I`m really into apothecary jars too and I think an apothecary would look so cute in a bathroom!Especially if you hang up one of those apothecary hanging cabinets!
