I'm a glasses girl. Ever since I was 14 years old, I've been wearing prescription glasses on the daily. I was lucky enough to be half way through my freshman year of high school, already battling acne and hormonal greasy hair, to find that I couldn't read anything on the white board in the front of my class. It was a bummer. I already felt like my nerd quota had been met with my lanky 5'9" frame, zits, greasy hair, and my excruciatingly shy demeanor. But alas, the nerd gods decided I needed just one more addition to top off my dorky self presentation.
The good news is that after a year or two of wearing glasses in my teen years, I began to really enjoy having a little comfort blanket on my face. I felt safe and shielded behind my glasses and I liked that it wasn't cool to wear glasses. At some point in the last few years though, glasses in general have gotten WAY cooler. Enter Warby Parker. I tried some on some of their glasses a few years ago via the At Home Try-On option but back then, they didn't have as many options for varying face shapes. I have a huge head so it's hard for me to find a pair of frames that fit my giant head but dont look too hyper masculine on me. So for the last few years I've been wearing Ray Ban sunglasses with a clear prescription glasses lens in them, and now I'm looking to find some glasses with a little more quirk to them. So I decided to give Warby Parker's glasses line another go.
What do you think? Which should I choose!
